Timbre "Championnat d'Europe féminin de football" sur lettre de Suisse
Du 2 au 27 juillet 2025, 8 stades suisses accueillent les matchs de la 14ème édition du Championnat d'Europe féminin de football, une première pour le pays (la Suisse avait déjà organisé avec l'Autriche l'Euro masculin en 2008).
16 équipes sont qualifiées pour cette compétition en Suisse, en particulier l'Allemagne (8 fois championne d'Europe), l'Angleterre (tenante du titre), l'Espagne (championne du monde), les Pays-Bas et la France. A noter que la Pologne et le Pays de Galles participent pour la première fois à cette compétition.
Le 8 mai 2025, la poste suisse a mis en circulation un timbre autocollant (1,20 CHF, conception : Marisa Nussbaumer), imprimé (au Liechtenstein par Gutenberg AG) en feuillet de 10 timbres, consacré à cet Euro féminin, utilisé à droite sur la lettre ci-dessous. Merci beaucoup Jürgen !
J'aime assez le design de ce timbre, avec cette gardienne (la valeur faciale du timbre est inscrite dans son dos) ne parvenant pas à empêcher un but d'une joueuse de l'équipe suisse, la mention "Helvetia" figurant discrètement dans le fond, sur un panneau publicitaire, ainsi qu'en plus grand en tifo dans la tribune. A noter aussi que le ballon peut se détacher du timbre !
From July 2 to 27, 2025, eight Swiss stadiums host matches of the 14th edition of the Women's European Football Championship, a first for the country (Switzerland previously hosted the Men's Euro in 2008 with Austria).
Sixteen teams have qualified for this competition in Switzerland, including Germany (eight-time European champion), England (defending champion), Spain (world champion), the Netherlands, and France. To note that Poland and Wales are participating in this competition for the first time.
On May 8, 2025, the Swiss Post issued a self-adhesive stamp (CHF 1.20, design: Marisa Nussbaumer), printed (in Liechtenstein by Gutenberg AG) in a sheetlet of 10 stamps, dedicated to this Women's Euro, used on the right on the cover below. Thank you very much, Jürgen!
I quite like the design of this stamp, with this goalkeeper (the nominal value of the stamp is written on her back) failing to prevent a goal from a player of the Swiss team, with the word "Helvetia" appearing discreetly in the background, on an advertising panel, as well as in a larger tifo in the stands. Also note that the ball can detach from the stamp!.
Le TAD illustré (portrait de Carl Durheim) a été mis en circulation à Berne, du 14 au 17 mai 2025, à l'occasion de l'exposition philatélique nationale et multilatérale "BERNABA 2025", organisée l'année du 175ème anniversaire de l'émission des premiers timbres fédéraux.
Pendant cette manifestation, les visiteurs pouvaient découvrir la vie du lithographe bernois Carl Durheim (1810-1890), qui imprima les premiers timbres fédéraux. C'est en effet en 1850, après la création de l'État fédéral et de la poste fédérale, que sont émis les premiers timbres valables dans toute la Suisse. Ils sont sobrement ornés de la croix suisse et du symbole du cor postal.
Jürgen a utilisé un 2ème timbre (0,90 + 0,30 CHF), faisant partie d'un bloc-feuillet (4 timbres, église réformée Saint-Laurent et vieille ville) émis le 9 septembre 1999 pour annoncer l'exposition nationale de philatélie "Naba 2000" organisée à Saint-Gall.
The illustrated postmark (portrait of Carl Durheim) was put into circulation in Bern from May 14 to 17, 2025, on the occasion of the national and multilateral philatelic exhibition "BERNABA 2025", organized in the year of the 175th anniversary of the issue of the first federal stamps.
During this event, visitors could learn about the life of the Bernese lithographer Carl Durheim (1810-1890), who printed the first federal stamps. It was indeed in 1850, after the creation of the federal state and the federal post, that the first stamps valid throughout Switzerland were issued. They are soberly decorated with the Swiss cross and the post horn symbol.
Jürgen used a 2nd stamp (CHF 0.90 + 0.30), part of a souvenir sheet (4 stamps, St. Lawrence Reformed Church and Old Town) issued on September 9, 1999 to announce the national philately exhibition "Naba 2000" organized in St. Gallen.
